What is the definition of “Happiness”?
According to the dictionary it means: To imply an active or passive state of pleasure or pleasurable satisfaction
Makes you wonder why a lot of us don’t imply this pleasure daily to stay on a “Happy” note. hmmm
Well of course I had to do a little research to find some ideas that would help those who always seem to just not be satisfied with life. I found plenty of good tips but am just going to share a few.
- If you’ve always been around or attracted to negativity this will definitely play a role on your happiness. You will need to step away from the negative and find something or someone positive to take it’s place.
- Accepting who you are. No matter how much you think you are not worthy of “yourself” you need to stop and accept the person you are or who have come to be. Embrace yourself…love yourself
- Be appreciative. It’s amazing how much weight something as thoughtful as a smile or from just saying thank you for the smallest gesture can carry. When you show appreciation, others will show appreciation to you. It’s really a great feeling…try it.
- Do something special for someone. You, know you can really get a good feeling inside about yourself when you do something especially nice for someone, anyone. Make it a habit.
- Come to the realization that for every bad thing that happens there is a good that follows. I find this to be so true. Be happy with knowing that. Don’t stress, especially from the small stuff.
- Remove yourself from your past. You will never be able to enjoy the simple pleasures in your present life if you stay stuck in your past.
- Stay healthy and energized. Eat a healthy diet and keep your body hydrated by drinking water throughout your day. Healthy=happy
- Do something you’ve always dreamt of doing. The first possible chance you get, do something you have desired but just weren’t able to. There is definite satisfaction there.
- Set small goals for yourself. Goals that are realistically reachable. Then move yourself up to bigger goals. You’ll find happiness each time those goals are met.
- Don’t be scared of love. Not only should you love your self but allowing someone eles to love you and you returning the love can bring lifelong relationship happiness.
You see finding ways to alleviate a lot of what you worry about in life can bring you that pleasurable satisfaction of happiness. So, don’t worry…be happy.

Tomorrow night on our S-H-E-M-A Gurls Talk BTR show we will have a very informative show about women and gun protection. I never really thought about using a gun for protection until my family was victimized. It’s a scary thought to think that it could happen again. I thank GOD my family wasn’t faced with immediate in the face danger…this time. I also think that with things the way they are here in the big city the crime is only going to get worst. Actually I have quite a few good reason’s why I want the protection of a gun but I won’t go into it all here.
Anyhoo, so tomorrow we will be joined by a CCW/CPL trainer and gun expert here in Michigan, Rick Ector of Rick’s Firearm Academy of Detroit. I am so looking forward to the show and getting some of the answers I need to know that I’m making not only a good decision but an informed one as well.

Tomorrow nights show will not be about debating the issue of women and guns, that is not our aim for the show. It will be about information on how women can get the proper training and use a gun for protection when in danger, told by an expert.

A Soul Purpose discovery is when you have come to the realization of what it is you were meant to be doing. A gift you have. Something positive you can share with those around you.
Think of the things you like to do most, what are some of the things you are good at, let your spirituality take hold and guide you, relax and let those ideals flow. Dare to dream. Once you have made that discovery it’s time to fulfill it, live it live and share your passion about it.
